Police Seek Missing Woman in Snowy Valley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from state's Snowy Valley.

Anne Cowley, aged 59, is believed to have left Khancoban, approximately 40km north of Thredbo, between 3.30pm and 5pm yesterday (Saturday 14 December 2024).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with an intellectual disability and requires medication.

Anne is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 155cm, slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She may be wearing a pink baseball cap and driving a white utility.

Anne is known to frequent the Canberra, Batemans Bay and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call Riverina Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
