Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Illawarra region.
Sophia Pro-Whitfield, aged 13, was last seen leaving a home in Shellharbour, about 1.30pm today (Sunday 2 March 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District Police were contacted and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Police hold serious concerns for Sophia's welfare due to her age.
Sophia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of a thin build, with an olive complexion, and dyed red hair.
She was last seen wearing a camouflaged singlet and khaki pants.
Sophia is known to frequent the Shellharbour and Dapto area.
