Police area appealing for public assistance over an alleged attempt break and enter in state's west.
About 4am yesterday (Tuesday 14 January 2025), officers attached to Central West Police District were called to a services station on Peisley Street, Orange, following reports of a single vehicle crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Central West Police District were told a white utility had allegedly crashed into the shopfront before about four unknown people entered shop and stole number of items and left the scene on foot.
Initial checks alleged the vehicle was stolen from another address in Orange, sometime between Saturday (11 January 2025) and Monday (13 January 2025).
Police have established a crime scene and seized the vehicle for a forensic examination.
As a part of an ongoing investigation, police are appealing for public assistance to locate four people who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
