Police Seek Tips in South Coast Oyster Thefts

Police are appealing for information following the theft of oysters on the South Coast.

Officers attached to the Rural Crime Prevention Team involved in Operation Trident, a joint operation with NSW Fisheries, to investigate the theft of oysters in New South Wales.

Between Saturday 14 December 2024 and Saturday 21 December 2024, officers attached to South Coast Police District were told approximately 190 dozen oysters were stolen from a farm in the Wagonga Inlet, Narooma.

Police estimate the oysters to be worth $2000.
