Police Seek Tips in Suspicious Griffith House Fire

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious house fire in the state's south last month.

About 4am on Saturday 30 November 2024, emergency services were called to Phillip Place, Griffith, following reports of a house fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW responded and extinguished the blaze, however, the house was extensively damaged.

The four occupants' who were home at the time were able to escape before emergency services arrived.

As investigations continue, police are looking for a dark coloured Holden Captiva, with a distinctive long, narrow side fender vent, believed to be in the vicinity at the time of the fire.

Anyone with dashcam, CCTV of the car around the time of the fire is urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
