Police Seek Tips on Alice Springs Aggravated Robbery 23 September

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Alice Springs on Sunday evening.

Around 8.20pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report from a 63-year-old woman that a male offender armed with a hammer had unlawfully entered her residence in Larapinta through a window.

The offender threatened the victim before allegedly attempting to strike her with the hammer. The offender allegedly stole the victim's purse containing personal items and fled the scene.

It is believed another unknown male was outside the residence during the incident.

The victim did not suffer any injuries.

General duties officers attended, and a crime scene was declared.
