Police Seek Tips on Alice Springs Aggravated Burglary

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated burglary that occurred in Alice Springs early yesterday morning.

Around 1.50am Saturday morning, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of an aggravated burglary at a residence on Lackman Terrace in Braitling.

Three unknown male offenders had allegedly unlawfully entered the residence and began rummaging through the house looking for car keys.

The offenders allegedly kicked down the locked door to the room where the two occupants of the residence were hiding and threatened them, demanding car keys. They subsequently fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victims were uninjured, and nil items were reported stolen.

The three offenders remain outstanding, and Strike Force Viper has carriage of the investigation.
