Police Seek Tips on Alice Springs Structure Fire

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to a structure fire that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday evening.

At 6.55pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received multiple reports of a residence on fire in Ptilotus Crescent, Sadadeen.

Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Services (NTFRS) attended and extinguished the fire. The premises sustained substantial damage as a result of the fire.

The five adult occupants of the residence at the time of the fire evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported to police.

A crime scene was declared and NT Police and NTFRS are investigating the cause of the fire, which is currently unknown.
