Police Seek Tips on Katherine Domestic Violence

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to a domestic violence assault that occurred in Katherine yesterday.

Around 5:20am, police received information that a woman had presented to Katherine Hospital with a large laceration to the back of her neck.

It is believed the woman was assaulted sometime that night at a residence in Katherine by her male partner.

The woman remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Detectives are investigating the incident and have identified her partner, with efforts currently underway to locate him.

Northern Territory Police are urging anyone with information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
