Northern Territory Police are investigating an aggravated assault in Moulden overnight.
Around 10:30pm, police received reports of a disturbance at a residence on Demestre Court, Moulden.
A short time later, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted on the street by the same group involved in the initial disturbance.
Sometime during the assault, it is alleged that the man was struck with a blunt weapon.
NT Police and St John Ambulance attended the scene and the man was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital suffering from multiple lacerations and fractures.
Investigations remain ongoing with the offenders believed to be known to the victim.
