Police Seek Tips on Stolen Vehicles in Alice Springs 30 July

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to multiple stolen motor vehicles across Alice Springs over the weekend.

At 10:45pm on Saturday 27 July, police received reports that a Ford Utility has been stolen from the back of a licenced premises on Todd Street.

A short time later, the stolen motor vehicle was found abandoned in Alice Springs CBD.

A subsequent search of the CBD was conducted, and a 16-year-old male was apprehended in relation to the stolen Utility.

Around 1:50am Sunday 28 July, a Toyota Prado was reported stolen from a residence on Heath Road, Kilgariff.

The vehicle was later found abandoned in Ilparpa and the offenders remain outstanding.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police urge anyone with information about these incidents to contact police on 131 444.
