Police Seek Tips on Surfers Paradise Assault

Police have released vision of two men they believe may be able to assist with investigations following a serious assault that occurred in Surfers Paradise on September 14.

Investigations indicate around 11.40pm, the two men approached a 25-year-old man on Trickett Street, before assaulting him.

The two men left the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim, a 25-year-old Varsity Lakes man, sustained serious facial injuries and required surgery.

Detectives from Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing to anyone who recognises the two men, pictured, to contact police.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly anyone with relevant vision, is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
