Police Seek Tips on Tennant Creek Aggravated Robbery

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated robbery occurred in Tennant Creek overnight.

Around 8:20pm, police received reports of five male youths allegedly unlawfully entering a residence on Scheelite Street.

The sole-occupant, a 79-year-old male, was allegedly threatened by one of the male youths armed with an edged weapon.

The offenders subsequently rummaged through the property, stole the victim's phone, and fled the scene.

Police attended however the offenders remain outstanding.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his hand and received medical treatment.
