Police Seek Witness: Assault, Herston

Detectives are appealing for a witness who offered assistance to the victim of an assault in Herston on July 10 to come forward.

It will be alleged a 45-year-old man inappropriately grabbed a woman at the intersection of Butterfield Street and Enoggera Creek Bikeway around 7.45am on Wednesday, July 10.

He has been charged with one count of sexual assault and is due before Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 30.

Following the assault, a second man approached the woman and offered support.

Detectives are appealing for this man to contact police with information.

The woman is aged in her twenties and is receiving ongoing support.
