Police Seek Witnesses After Police Ramming In Newtown

Geelong Police are appealing for public assistance after a police vehicle was rammed in a car park in May.

It is believed a marked police vehicle parked behind a white Audi sedan in a car park in Aberdeen Street about 12.25am on 16 May.

The driver reversed the Audi at speed, ramming the police vehicle before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as Caucasian, of slim build, with wavy brown hair and a moustache. He was wearing a dark jumper and skinny blue jeans.
