Police seek witnesses after St Kilda hit-run

Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit-run involving a cyclist in St Kilda last month.

The collision occurred in the bicycle lane on Marine Parade on 30 June, at approximately 6.10am.

The cyclist - a 64-year-old male from Fitzroy North - was traveling south towards Elwood when his bicycle and a vehicle collided.

The driver of the vehicle involved left the scene.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, especially the driver of a trade vehicle towing a large white trailer which stopped nearby the collision.
