Police Seek Witnesses - Disturbance - Palmerston

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a disturbance at a shopping centre in Palmerston last week.

Around 11am on Tuesday 6 August 2024, a male and female (pictured) entered a supermarket on Temple Terrace in Palmerston and allegedly removed packets of chuck steak from the refrigeration section. The male offender was wearing a Mongols bikie shirt and was captured running from the store with the female into the carpark near the grocery click and collect area.

The male and female got into a silver Holden Commodore station wagon and drove out of the carpark, during which they allegedly collided with two other stationary vehicles. No injuries have been reported to police.

Police are interested in speaking with anyone who witnessed the theft of the chuck steak or the collisions in the carpark, or who has dashcam footage of the incident, to make contact on 131 444 and quote reference NTP2400076649.
