Police seek witnesses to aggravated Robbery in Darwin 2 January

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after an aggravated robbery in Darwin yesterday.

Just before 7:30pm, police received reports of 3 youths threatening staff at a business along Smith Street in Darwin city.

One youth allegedly assaulted an employee, before another entered the secured cashier area, stealing cash and cigarettes.

Detectives from the Serious Crimes Squad are investigating the incident and urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference 24000952.
