Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a stabbing outside a licensed premises in Melbourne's CBD last month.
It's believed the victim, a 30-year-old North Melbourne man, was involved in an altercation with an unknown man on King Street about 11.50am on 22 September.
As the victim tried to leave in a taxi, the man stabbed him twice and fled on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he underwent surgery.
Detectives have released images and CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The man was wearing a black and white hoodie, black pants, black shoes, and a black bag.
