Police Seek Witnesses To Pedestrian Death In Lalor

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Lalor yesterday.

Investigators have been told the car and pedestrian collided on Station Street near David Street about 2.10 pm.

Sadly, the pedestrian, a 64-year-old Lalor woman, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 45-year-old Lalor woman, stopped at the scene and has been released pending further enquiries.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be fully established and investigators wish to speak to any witnesses.
