Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to investigate and are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Bayswater North last month.
Police have been told a vehicle was entering a driveway on Elmhurst Road when a female pedestrian was struck by the car just after 6.30pm on Monday 25 May.
The 58-year-old Bayswater North woman was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition but sadly died in hospital three days later.
Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage that may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and assisted police with their enquiries.
