Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly pedestrian was struck by a utility in Alderley on Monday, July 15.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 3.40pm, a 76-year-old man was crossing Railway Street, off Samford Road, at a pedestrian crossing when he was struck by a grey Nissan Navara utility.
He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 32-year-old Burpengary man, is assisting police with enquiries.
Police are appealing to witnesses, particularly anyone who saw the dual cab utility prior to the crash, to come forward.
Anyone with relevant dashcam, CCTV or phone vision is also urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
