Police Seize Illicit Cigarettes, Tobacco, E-Cigs in Wangaratta

Wangaratta police have seized significant quantities of loose tobacco, illicit cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and cash during a search warrant at a tobacco store in Wangaratta earlier this week.

Officers executed the warrant at the business on Ford Street about 10am on Tuesday, 24 September.

While searching the premises, police located and seized approximately $30,000 in cash, as well as over 17kg of loose tobacco, approximately 1000 illicit cigarettes and 250 e-cigarettes.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Investigators continue to appeal to anyone with information about illicit activity to come forward to police.
