Detectives from the Fawkner Divisional Response Unit seized 17 luxury cars and almost $1 million in cash after arresting a man allegedly trafficking illegal prescription medication.
Following a five-month long investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a Moonee Ponds business on Thursday and located a significant amount of illegal prescription medication including steroids and human growth hormones.
They arrested the alleged business owner at a factory in Somerton the same morning.
Police will allege the man was selling prescription medication from the Moonee Ponds business without a licence.
Following a search of the Somerton factory police seized $950,000 cash and 17 luxury vehicles including:
• Six Holden Toranas including a VK SS Peter Brock valued at $1 million
• Two Lamborghinis
• A Porsche

• A Mercedes AMG
Police will allege the vehicles - with a combined value of approximately $4 million - were the proceeds of crime.
The 54-year-old Yarrambat man was last night charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of prescription drugs, trafficking a commercial quantity of anabolic and androgenic steroidal agents, trafficking drugs, trafficking testosterone, trafficking anabolic steroids and dealing with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
