Police Shooting, Caboolture South

Police have shot a 46-year-old man following an incident at Caboolture South this morning, June 19.

Police attended a property on Keith Street around 10.30am in relation to a warrant.

Upon arrival, an armed man threatened police with a knife and was subsequently shot in the abdomen.

He has been transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with life-threatening abdominal injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.

Two other people and a baby were also located at the scene and were not physically injured.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are continuing.

The Ethical Standards Command (ESC) will investigate the incident with oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
