Police Student Charged At Goulburn

A student at the NSW Police Academy has been charged following an investigation.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District were called to the facility on McDermott Drive, Goulburn, yesterday (Wednesday 9 April 2025) and arrested a 24-year-old man following an investigation into the alleged harassment of another student.

The man was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with use carriage service to menace/harass.

Police will allege the man harassed another student while he was attending the residential component of the course.

The man has been given strict conditional bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday 16 April 2025.

The student has been stood down and his professional suitability is under review.
