Police Treating Fire As Suspicious, Cotswold Hills

Detectives are investigating following a suspicious fire in Cotswold Hills early this morning.

Around 1:30am emergency services were called to a motel complex on Boundary Road following reports of a fire.

All occupants at the motel self-evacuated.

A 34-year-old woman was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital for observation due to smoke inhalation.

There were no other injuries.

The fire caused significant damage to the property.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and a crime scene has been declared.

Investigations are continuing.
