Police Treating Fire As Suspicious, Virginia

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a home in Virginia last night, December 4.

Around 9:15pm, emergency services were called to the home on Jefferis Street after reports of a fire.

Emergency services extracted a 37-year-old women, who was trapped inside the house.

She was treated for smoke inhalation and was taken to Prince Charles Hospital as a precaution.

A crime scene has been established and investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact police. Police are also appealing for anyone with vision or dashcam in the area to come forward.
