Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 33-year-old man who they believe can assist with their investigations into the death of a pedestrian at Mount Isa on Sunday night.
At 9.55pm on August 13 a car was headed south on Camooweal Street when it collided with two pedestrians.
A 27-year-old Northern Territory man died at the scene. The second pedestrian, a 29-year-old Northern Territory man, was taken to the Mount Isa Hospital in a critical condition.
The car left the scene and police have been appealing for the driver to make contact.
The man or anyone who knows his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
