Police Update 1: Fatal Traffic Crash At Mount Isa

Police have renewed calls for anyone with information or dashcam vision of a single-vehicle traffic crash at Lanskey, north of Mount Isa, on June 23.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 12.30am, an ATV buggy was driving dangerously before it rolled on Moondarra Road.

A 49-year-old Gordonvale man was declared deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the Mount Isa Criminal Investigation Branch are urging anyone who was in the area on the night of June 22 and the early morning of June 23 to contact police, or report information anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
