Police have charged a 48-year-old Redbank Plains man with murder following an alleged homicide in Redbank Plains overnight, November 28.
Emergency services were called to a Lillian Street address around 8.40pm.
Upon arrival police allegedly located a man who had sustained serious stab wounds and was declared deceased at the scene.
A 48-year-old Redbank Plains man was arrested at the scene.
It will be further alleged the two men were known to each other.
A 48-year-old Redback Plains man has been charged with one count of murder and is expected to appear before the Ipswich Magistrates Court today, November 29.
Investigations into the man's death are ongoing, and officers are appealing to anyone with information that may assist them to come forward.
