Police Update 1: House Fire Investigation At Geham

A 45-year-old man is currently assisting police with their enquiries as part of an ongoing investigation into a suspicious fatal house fire in Geham this morning, April 15.

Emergency services were called to a residence on Strack Road around 2.50am, finding the property extensively damaged.

During a search of the property the body of a deceased person was located, however formal identification of the remains is ongoing.

A full forensic examination of the property will be carried out to determine the cause of the blaze.

Police located the man at a Redcliffe address this afternoon.

Investigations continue.
