Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation unit have charged a 35-year-old Redlynch man with 200 further offences following investigations into the alleged indecent treatment of children.
On November 18, detectives arrested the man after they allegedly found additional child exploitation material on his electronic devices.
He was charged with 26 counts of taking a child for an immoral purpose, 7 counts of using a carriage service to access child abuse material, 61 counts of involving a child in making child exploitation material, 42 counts of making child exploitation material and 64 counts of indecent treatment.
He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today, November 20.
Investigations are ongoing and police are providing support to those involved.
