Police have released new CCTV footage of a an 82-year-old man missing from Childers, as the search for him continues.
Peter Hodgins has been missing since Sunday, May 19, and was last seen leaving an address along Morgan Street around 6.45pm, heading south towards Broadhurst Street.
A physical land search is continuing in Childers with support from the SES and search and rescue helicopter.
At this stage, police are focusing the search on the Thompson Road area, however Mr Hodgins has also been linked to Townsville.
Police thank the community for their assistance so far and continue to urge local residents to check their properties, backyards, sheds and structures for signs of Mr Hodgins.
Police are also requesting motorists, especially truck drivers, to be aware of and on the lookout for Mr Hodgins.
As pictured, Mr Hodgins was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, jeans, brown shoes and a dark coloured coat.
