Police are continuing to appeal for urgent public assistance to locate a 79-year-old woman reported missing from Rochedale South this morning.
Colleen Ansell was last seen on Pindari Street around 3am this morning and has not been seen since.
Police and family hold concern for her welfare due to her suffering from dementia; causing her to become disorientated while suffering from confusion and loss of direction.
Colleen is very friendly and may approach people to chat.
Police and SES are continuing to conduct searches and patrols in Rochedale South and surrounding suburbs.
She is described as Caucasian in appearance with shoulder length grey hair. She was last seen wearing a light-coloured pyjama shirt, pants and black shoes.
Police appeal to Colleen, or anyone who may have information regarding her whereabouts, to come forward.
