Police Update 1: Property Crime Charges, Bayside

Police have charged a 17-year-old Acacia Ridge boy with an additional 13 offences following his arrest in Acacia Ridge on December 22.

It will be alleged between November 26 to December 13 the teenager committed an array of offences across Wishart, Rochedale, Carindale and Robertson.

The teen has been charged with an additional four counts of enter premises and commit, two counts each of enter premises with intent, burglary, receiving tainted property, unauthorised use of a motor vehicle and trespass, and one count of robbery in company whilst armed.

He is expected to appear before Brisbane Childrens Court on January 6, 2025.

Inspector Justin Anderson says local police are committed to protecting the community through investigations and strong enforcement action.

"Community safety is our top priority and police are working hard to combat and prevent offences of this nature," he said.

"While police continue to proactively disrupt and deter offences, the community can help us by ensuring your home is locked up, including windows, and valuables such as wallets and car keys are out of sight".

"If you see anything suspicious, report it to police immediately."
