A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Baringa last night.
Emergency services were called to a Toyne Street residence just before midnight, where a 42-year-old man was located with stab wounds.
The man died from his injuries at the scene.
A crime scene was established and a 16-year-old boy known to the man taken into custody.
He has since been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear in Maroochydore Childrens Court.
