Police Update 1: Theft Of Firearm At Townsville

Police have arrested two people following the theft of a service firearm from a Townsville City address yesterday, November 24.

Two men were taken into custody this afternoon and are currently assisting police with enquiries.

Police are continuing to appeal for information in relation to the whereabouts of the service firearm and ammunition.

Investigations are continuing, no further information is available.
