Police have charged two men following a wounding incident in Southport on Thursday, August 23.
It will be alleged just before 9pm, three men arrived at a Prince Street address in a stolen white Mazda BT-50 where an altercation occurred shortly after.
Upon arrival, police located a 27-year-old Southport man with a wound to his back and a 65-year-old Southport man with facial injuries.
Emergency services transported both men to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The three men allegedly left the scene in the Mazda BT-50 prior to police arrival.
The Mazda was allegedly stolen from a Bilinga address on August 8.
A 37-year-old Southport man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is due to appear before Southport Magistrates Court on September 9.
A 55-year-old Broadbeach man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, and one count each of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of tainted property. He is due to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court today.
