Police investigating the disappearance of a 42-year-old Finch Hatton man last month are launching a fresh public appeal for information.
Robert Boettiger (pictured) left a residence on Mackay-Eungella Road in Finch Hatton around 4pm on Wednesday, June 24 in a white 2011 Great Wall utility with Queensland registration 178 SDC (pictured).
He was last seen in Marian at service station around 4.20pm. He drove away towards the Peak Downs Highway via Marian Eton Road.
He was travelling to mining accommodation in Coppabella but never arrived.
Despite extensive search efforts in the Nebo area, where it is believed he may have travelled to, Robert and the ute have not been located.
Police hold serious concern for his wellbeing as it is out of character for him not to remain in contact with friends and family.
Robert is Caucasian, around 185cm tall with a large build, hazel eyes and short brown hair.
Police coordinated a widescale air and land search of an area north of Nebo and Mount Britton last week with no items of interest located.
Investigators are trying to piece together Robert's movements on the day he went missing and the days following and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him or the ute to come forward.
