The search and rescue operation to locate 28-year-old Luke Fergusson reported missing from Stalworth in the South Burnett last Friday, June 9, has entered its sixth day.
Police and State Emergency Service volunteers have been conducting search activities across a 27 square kilometre area in the nearby townships of Proston, Stalworth, Abbeywood and surrounds.
Several land and aerial assets, including the AMSA Challenger Jet, the Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg-based rescue helicopters, quad vehicles, and local horseback volunteers, have assisted in search efforts.
Police divers have also been called in to assist with a search of waterways.
Police and family remain concerned about Luke's welfare due to the cold weather and the time since he was last seen.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall, with a proportionate build, brown hair and brown eyes.
Luke also has a medical condition and may appear disorientated if sighted.
Police continue to appeal to residents within the South Burnett to check their properties and review their CCTV or dashcam footage over the past few days.
Anyone with information about Luke's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
