Ipswich detectives have charged a 40-year-old Lowood man following the alleged arson at the Lowood Police Station on November 2.
It will be alleged the man entered the grounds of the station at 11:58pm and deliberately set fire to three police vehicles parked behind the station, causing over $350 000 in damages.
The man has been charged with one count each of arson, endangering particular property by fire, breach of bail, possessing drug utensils and urinating in a public place.
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow (November 24).
