Police have charged a fourth man and a woman over the alleged murder of a 48-year-old man at Gleneagle last week.
The 32-year-old Ningi man was arrested at Caboolture this afternoon, before being transported to the Brisbane watch house where he was charged with one count of murder this evening.
The 23-year-old Hillcrest woman was arrested at Hillcrest this afternoon, before being transported to the Brisbane watch house this evening, where she was also charged with one count of murder.
They are both due to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court (tomorrow) Thursday, October 24
These arrests follow the arrest of three other men over the incident:
Yesterday afternoon, a 32-year-old Biggera Waters man was arrested at Beaudesert. He was transported to the Brisbane watch house where he was charged with one count of murder last night. He was scheduled to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court (today) Wednesday, October 23.
On Friday, a 29-year-old Yarrabilba man was arrested by New South Wales police at Forbes. Last night, he was extradited from Canberra to the Brisbane watch house where he was charged with one count of murder. He was scheduled to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court (today) Wednesday, October 23.
On Sunday, a 28-year-old Port Macquarie man was arrested by New South Wales police in Port Macquarie. On Monday evening, he was extradited from Port Macquarie to the Brisbane watch house where he was charged with one count of murder yesterday morning. He was scheduled to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court (yesterday) Tuesday, October 22.
