Police have located a vehicle believed to be involved in the fatal hit and run at Caboolture overnight.
A burnt-out vehicle was located by police in Quarry Road at Moodlu this morning.
Scientific officers have commenced an examination of the vehicle, which is believed to be the Hyundai Kona involved in the incident.
The driver of the vehicle has not been located.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was travelling in the area who saw or has dashcam vision of the Hyundai Kona to contact police.
