Police Update: Arrests - Assault - Karama

Northern Territory Police have arrested five offenders in relation to an assault that occurred in Karama earlier this week.

Strike Force Trident Detectives, along with the Dog Operations Unit, successfully located and arrested the five offenders yesterday without incident.

The five female offenders, one adult and four youths, have been charged with numerous offences, including:

  • Recklessly endangering serious harm
  • Aggravated assault
  • Engage in violent conduct
  • Make a threat to kill a person
  • Armed with an offensive weapon
  • Going armed in public
  • Possess schedule 2 (less than trafficable)
  • Damage to property

They are set to appear in court at a later date.
