Three people have been arrested after a licenced premises at Cavan was robbed earlier this month.
Just after 1am on Tuesday 2 April, two men with weapons entered the Cross Keys Road venue and threatened staff and demand cash from the till. Both offenders had their face covered; one carried a sword and the other an unidentified weapon.
The pair fled the scene with an amount of cash and were last seen heading north on Port Wakefield Road in gold coloured Holden sedan. Thankfully there were no physical injuries.
Following an investigation, and a number of house searches, officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested the following people:
On Wednesday 10 April detectives attended a Price home and arrested a 21-year-old woman. She has been charged with aid and abet aggravated robbery, firearm and weapons offences and arson of a motor vehicle. She was bailed to appear at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 29 May.
On Thursday 18 April a 31-year-old Price man was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, firearm and weapons offences. He was remanded in custody to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 15 July.
Today, Tuesday 23 April, SOCB detectives attended a premises at Dry Creek and arrested a 40-year-old Elizabeth Vale man. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and driving suspended. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday 24 April.
