Police update: Attempted murder charges at Rosewood

Queensland Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with attempted murder after an alleged wounding in Rosewood last night, June 8.

The 16-year-old Rosewood boy has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

He is due to appear in Ipswich Childrens Court.

The 39-year-old woman and the 11-year-old girl, who both sustained stab wounds in the incident, underwent surgery this morning and remain in critical conditions in hospital.

Investigations remain ongoing.
