Police Update: Charges Laid for Recklessly Endangering Life in Woolner

Northern Territory Police have charged a 31-year-old man after a police vehicle was rammed in Woolner earlier this year.

The man has been actively evading detectives since April of this year, driving dangerously multiple times.

Around 9:15am yesterday, he was arrested by detectives from Serious Crime, allegedly hiding in the laundry of a residence on Fagan Court, Gray.

He has since been charged with:

  • 2 x Recklessly endanger life
  • 3 x Dangerous driving during pursuit
  • 3 x Fail to obey direction of police
  • 1 x Damage to property
  • 1 x Drive prohibited drug in body
  • 1 x Possess schedule 1 dangerous drugs - traffickable
  • 1 x Drive unlicensed

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
