Police update: Charges - Property offences - Greater Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to a police pursuit and unlawful entries in the Greater Darwin Region on Sunday night.

The 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene after the stolen vehicle he was in came to a stop on Tivendale Road following the deployment of a tyre deflation device.

Strike Force Trident detectives have since charged him with:

  • 6 x Aggravated unlawful entry (building, night)
  • 6 x Damage property
  • 4 x Stealing
  • 1 x Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • 1 x Trespass

The man was also issued an infringement notice for:

  • Contravention of emergency declaration

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on 11 November 2021.

Investigations continue.
