Burnett detectives have charged a man after an incident in Kingaroy yesterday.
Around 2pm it will be alleged a stolen silver Mazda 3 was driven at police in Victoria Street, narrowly missing officers.
As a result, police discharged their firearms.
None were injured.
Shortly afterwards, it will be further alleged the vehicle evaded police on the Bunya Highway at Memerambi and continued to be driven in a dangerous manner.
The vehicle and driver were located at a Wondai address around midnight.
A 31-year-old Murgon man has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, dangerous operation of a vehicle, evade, driving without a driver licence disqualified by court and robbery.
He is due to appear before the Kingaroy Magistrates Court today.
Investigations by the Ethical Standards Command are continuing.
